Gabrielle published her first children's book in 2015. She has created an accompanying early years & primary curriculum for nurseries, primary classrooms, and after-school settings to develop children's literacy and musicianship skills, and introduce the expressive arts.​

The stories are for early primary school children (5-8 years) and introduce them to orchestral instruments while teaching essential musical concepts.

In 2023, Gabrielle completed the highly acclaimed Writing for Young People
MA at Bath Spa University, and is currently finishing her debut middle-grade novel.

The Secrets of La Belle Époque is set in 1950s bohemian Paris, and the story celebrates the inspiring world of the Ballet-Russes and the dramatic arts.
